Remain Secrets

How oblivious you must be;
Clear are the words on my wrist.
But my secret is kept, you see,
As long as they remain missed.

Words cannot portray what is felt,
But eyes force the blood deeper.
A blade is all I need to melt.

In a world of hatred and pain,
Why do I still breathe in fear
You'll find my blood drips like rain?
Why hide this secret, dear?

We live in a place of bias;
My thoughts are turned against me,
Unwittingly plan my demise.
Never will my heart be free.
