Good Enough

I have questions in need of answers,
A heart and mind both full of doubts.
Though the picture is becoming clearer,
I still don't have it figured out.
I don't regret a single moment,
That I ever spent with you.
It's the moments spent without you,
That leave me lost and so confused.
I wish that I was good enough,
To be the one you love.
Because my heart belongs to only you,
You are all that I dream of.
You are the keeper of the wisdom,
That I am searching for.
You have the answers to my questions,
The keys to all the doors.
But you have them barricaded,
You just will not let me in.
And so my heart cries out in vain,
As it waits to be broken again.
