Up Against the Wind.

A gust of wind
Blows strong and wild
Throughout the stormy sea
And against the rocks,
Tides smash and tare,
Thus crash towards my feet
As chunks of rubble
Tumble down
And sink inside the sand
To meet the fellow shells and stones
That lay among the ground
The howling whistles
Haunt the nights
As trees sway from side – to – side
All ships and sails
Cling to the docks
Like they’ve all been glued when tied
Though choppy waters
Take to show
How dangerous they can be
And tragically seizing
People’s lives
With no opportunities

No chance for you
To save yourself
And exist in a long life
As help no longer
Can be there
When the tide takes you
Like his wife
Then all you see
Has gone away
Your future,
Your soul,
Your dreams
And all because
Of one small thing….
