21 Days and Counting

Here she waits
Ready to be fixed.
Yet something is different
Something's amiss.
She leaves her friends
To start from new.
It's not to school she's going
It's someplace less cool.

The doors are white
And they'll open her soul
Read the lines that have been written
And in between the ones hidden,
From her innermost demons
And the scariest of ghouls.

Here she'll pour out her sick twisted mind
And tell secrets she's much rather hide.
How will she get out,
There's only one answer now.

21 days and counting
Till discharge awaits.
Behavioral Health Hospital
A place that she hates.
