Weather Update

Past predictions, although correct, not current.
False signals seeming clear, irrelevant.
As Spring appears in the step of nature,
inversley, it withers from the ground
from clouds' frowns that wave in the new shade.

This sky-cotton is bursting with absorbed precipitation
from the past 6 months of morbid humidity that
the forecast missed,
brought on by the cataclysmic quake in the sky,
which lead to irradiation of fear
in the atmosphere
that's still traced here.

So the lightening has failed, flickers listlesly now
like licks of blue on the lid of the clouds.
Sluggish convergence cools from peak to cliff,
While hail batters face in twilight mist.
Single tree caked in heavy icing
on a lonely white lump, dying.

Black spot of imperfection swirls in azure;
leftover and so far sticking.
Its unpredictability can't be tracked
or mapped.
Forever forecast unfulfilled.

Possibly, when the hesitant greys have long since lingered,
solar warmth may return and give light
to the lonely dull skull in the sky.
Relevant rays may pierce through its eyes,
jaw drop slow in surprise
to reveal familiar brilliance paved in beams
of gold and white.
