This is all I remember.
I was able to stifle a scream
And hope this all was just a dream.
Just as I had opened the door,
You slipped silently to the floor.
I had to admit you looked just fine
Lying there in your own red blood.
But what was going through my mind…
Was very far from divine
While looking at the person I used to call "mine."
But you didn't care how I felt about it
And I had no lingering doubts about it.
You were mad and mabey even sad
And it was bad, what I had said.
I didn't mean it
But you couldn't see it.
I'm sorry I caused you all this pain.
Now I'll never see you again.
