Evangeline

Evangeline
Evangeline
Her lips of rose
Her eye's of crystal
With blonde flowed hair
And grace so pure
Evangeline, oh how doll you are

Too each they love and all they give
Evangline, one kiss is bliss
How many would trade
A dime a dozen
To spend one hour in
Your bed or arms

A mother's prize
A father's treasure
Evangline
Nothing could ever be more sweeter

Her head is always plenty high
She smiles; a blush!
Oh how she is shy
Full of life and all birthed to give
Such a darling child,
And a beautiful lady to live

Her life was pure and full of riches,
Love and prospirity was her future
To be wed off to a promising man
Although she wanted no part!
No, love is what she would marry

And then it came,
The confusion and tie
He moved like mist
Stole her pretty eyes
The heart in her chest; thought it lept for him
But once she craved his lips
He gave her sin

Evangeline, my darling
Why did you subdue?
To allow his bite to fuel your moves
Time will now pass
So slow for all years
And where do you stand
But on a mountain of wait

Evangeline
Sweet, sweet Angel
To live by the blood and dine
There you now travel
Without family by your side

"You grow up so fast!" Mother had spoken
And now there she goes,
A vampire
A creature of the night
To never age old
But to never grow dead

Evangeline
Evangeline
