The kiss.

You were drenched from head to toe,
Body soaked from the rain.
Yet your smile seemed to glow,
And erased all of my pain.
We had spent all night,
Dancing out in the dark.
Your eyes, so blue and bright,
Created a contrast so stark.
Your clothes clung to you,
Emphasising your figure.
Clothes slightly see-through,
Yet you stood proud with vigour.
So there we lay hand in hand,
Resting in a bed made for two.
And although music played band after band,
It seemed like it was just me and you.

We then shared our first kiss,
In a tender lover's embrace.
There I lay, filled with bliss,
As my heart began to race.
That kiss still haunts me,
Reminds me of what I lost.
For I truly payed the fee,
My sins did truly cost.
