You see that girl you just called fat? She's starving herself so that she'll ''fit in''
You see that boy you called a freak? His parents died and he's alone
You see the girl that you called ugly? She spends hours putting onmake upand buying exspensive clothes to impress you
You see the woman you spread rumors about? She just lost her husband
You see the boy you tripped? He gets abused at home
You see the girl you called stupid? She has dyslexia
The man wan with the scarred face was trapped in a burning building
The woman who walks with a limp got hit by a car
The little boy who speaks loud and acts differently is mentally ill
The man with one arm fought for our country
And you make fun of them?
Don't say someone is mean when they are in mourning. Don't say someone is fat when they're trying. Don't call someone stupid for asking questions.
People wouldn't dare laugh at a blind or cripple, why would you laugh at a person who needs a little more help?
Calling someone ugly won't make you prettier
Calling someone fat won't make you skinnier
Calling someone stupid won't make you any smarter
Calling someone mean definitely won't make you nicer
And insulting someone won't do anything for you..so why do it?
Don't judge what you don't know
Don't talk down to someone until you walk a mile in their shoes
Inside the girl you called ugly is the most beautiful pearl
Inside that boy you called a freak is a lonely and sad soul wanting someone to love
Inside that man with the one arm is a hero who made a sacrifice
Inside that woman you spread rumors about is a widow who loved her husband
Even though they don't seem like your words hurt, they do. So knock it off.
