Every Now And Then

Every now and then I transform into a different person
who lies and cheats and steals,
whose life holds no purpose.

Time and time again I'm left to all that's unholy
with addictions all around me
and a love that kills so slowly.

For the love of any God who may possibly hear me
please help my fragile soul,
out of this twisted maze of misery.
