Laughing at the Rain

I stand,
Feet rooted to the asphalt beneath me.
My head,
Spinning at all of my thoughts.

My grey eyes,
Watch grey clothed sheep in the sky.
Mouth open,
Catching cold, clear, wet petals, from a flower above.

Arms spread,
Propelling my body as I spin.
Furious speed,
Motioning my dance to continue.

Bare feet,
Stepping into soft green grass.
Eyes closing,
As I taste fresh water on my tongue.

Mind racing,
As I go, whirling into the lawn.
Heart hammering,
Sending a smile to my face.

Rain,
Yes.
Beautiful,
Rain.
