Forgetting

The start of winter's wake
Brings tears to my eyes
This is the day he died.
Cars collide by drunk men,
Blood spilled out among the glass,
Screams and cries fill the air,
I weep with such dispare.
Closing my eyes to forget,
Forget seeing you die.
I can't go on like this,
So now I drive in the way
Praying to God I may
Hopefully I may see him again.
