Winter Chills

As the night drifted away with sleep,
I found myself to be once complete.
Suddenly I felt the sensation of bliss,
I finally fell from my oceanic abyss.
A fall that was so far and steep,
Creating it so I wouldn't weep.
All thanks to her warm kiss,
A touch that anyone would miss.

Her heart and mine intertwined,
Creating love that was undefined.
My soul was longing for this embark,
Now I have you when It goes dark.
You turned my grays to blues,
Colors that I never knew.

The flowers now have a bright blaze,
And the blacks and whites are all a haze.
The light swirling colors of the sky,
Almost as pretty as your painted eyes,
And the warm smell of daffodils,
Gives me the tingling winter chills.
