Puzzle Pieces

I started off with
a big empty space.
It was a humongous void
waiting to be filled.

I added a sky.
It never sobs nor shouts
in rage or sorrow.

When it's winter
it
lets little lace
shaped snowflakes
fall gracefully onto my face,
as they land on everything else as well.

The days are short
but filled with joy.
The night is filled with
warmth and peace.

When it's summer
the days stretch on
but are full of adventures.
The nights are short and playful.

When it's in-between
well,
the seasons mash up to create
a perfect harmony.

Then I started to play with the land.
I love nature, so it's full of
forests, rivers and lakes.
I also added some fields,
to fill with tall grass and flowers
for the animals.

Afterwards, I added a small cities.
The roads are cobblestones
that play tricks on you and make you fall.
I also put
big, solid buildings
that make you look up in amazement
at the things it must've seen.

I like small cities
so I made a lot of them
and grouped them together
to make one big city
so that no one misses each other.

I started adding secret passageways
that make you
twist and turn
loop and fall
and think and laugh
because puzzles are always welcome.

The houses are quite odd.
They're full of character.
They're also small and cozy
yet roomy and airy.

When I was done creating my Little World
I noticed something.
Something was missing.
It was something, but, it wasn't a thing.
Like a big empty sky,
I couldn't place my finger on it.

Then it struck me like lighting
WHAM!
Right on my head

It was only me in
my Little World.

I needed to add people.
