Jump

My eyes close and drift away
Though my love for you I cannot say
We kiss and my mind's wiped blank
I do not need to walk the plank
I jump.

The clouds above  my head swirl
On and on spinning round the world
My eyes wrinkle and hair gets frizzy
Time avoids us and I feel dizzy
I fall.

The wind around deforms my features
All the voices of the preachers
Echo inside my ears and make them ring
Thump. I reside on a plane's wing
I fly.

Hawaiian shirts and eskimo hats
They attack me like fruit and gnats
Rope round my neck, today's the day
Close my eyes and drift away
I jump.
