The Certainty of Fantasy

I live far, far away in a world of my own,
One that however, you will never know
Inside my mind I imagine a blissful fairytale
Where everyone loves me and I never fail
I do not need to worry about beauty
And have orchards of trees that grow money
It is a perfect life with perfect people
No wars, no famine and everyone’s equal
And most important of all,
I can go there at any time that I please
I can efficiently banish any form of disease
And I control what there is to happens next
I assure you that everything is done for the best
The drama and laughter and fame,
Sure, none of it is true
But it is what keeps me sane.
