Speak

I can't help it but to feel
Times wasting away.
With me sitting here
Without words to say;
With everything to say.
This little voice of mine
With big things to portray,
In such a loud place around.
My cry's become grey.
I become helpless in such a loud place.
Limp and weak from the battle of defeat,
I can't seem to stop these feet.
They want to stay abound
While my mind travels to space.
Where there's not a sound,
But the things that should be found.
In such a simple way.
By listening to not a sound,
By listening to the things around,
That, of what lets you sway.
My heart screams for change,
While my soul trembles out loud:
There's not a thing I've found proud
In this human race.
There's not a thing I've found proud
In this human race.
Just a disgrace,
A spit upon the face.
We are what makes evil proud.
I wish to turn away.
But these eyes I've found,
Can't hide these things.
With me sitting here
Without words to say;
With everything to say.
I'm lost in the crowd.
So loud,
Yet so far away.
Like a whisper in the wind,
I hear it through the trees;
A moment of peace.
As real as space.
Something you just have to believe.
More than what limits are in the sky.
More than what meets the sea.
Like a first kiss,
It's found.
Something I wish we could be proud,
Love...
Such a simple thing.
