1st Poem In A While
This is my 1st poem in a while.
A long time passed, it almost went out of style.
I apologize to all my readers.
But alot's been seen with my peepers.
I fell in love with my best friend,
desperately wishing my life would end.
She's with someone else, it's hard you see...
I have to get used to the fact that IT WILL NEVER BE ME.
I love her with all my heart.
So much so it tears my world apart.
Deeper & deeper this feeling lingers.
I wish I could caress her with the tips of my fingers.
She's in my heart, & she's in my soul.
But without her my days are as black as coal.
I cannot stand her being with him.
But in the end, it's a battle I will never win.
