You Don't Know Me

I know who you are, but you don't know me.
I glance at you when you walk by with friends,
And even though I know we'll never meet,
I hope that my daydreams won't ever end.
I'm just the dork that's quiet during class.
You're the boy that likes to hang with the crowd,
Which is why you don't notice when I pass.
And you noticing is something I doubt.
I will wait no matter how long it takes,
Soon you'll be hit with realization.
Even if it is only by mistake,
All I want is some type of relation.
I sit and think about what we could be,
But then I remember: You don't know me.
