Prom Night

She wears a gown made of lace and silk

Her mother and father smiles as she frowns after the picture

She knew she going to be utterly alone because no one asked

Weather she was going to prom or not

But she realized too late that it was because no one liked her

She stands in a beautiful gown of black, white and blue

But that is just the colors her classmates will see of her on her skin and body, when they enter the prom

Because she's there hanging above the rafters with a note around her neck asking

"Why?"
Students feel bad because of their behavior towards her but they cannot undo the damage they pushed on her because she was shunned and left alone

Her "friends" cried but really they were glad because they don't have to be seen with her

all because no one asked her to prom...
