Why me?

Watching the seconds tick by,
It’s enough to make me cry.
It’s funny how you feel when you wait,
Life is always dependant on fate.
He’s here! Knocking at the door,
I can’t take it any more.

I storm out in a rage,
Why doesn’t he act his age?!
It seems to me he likes me a lot,
But he said my best friends really hot.
He just stands there with an absent glare,
He had brought a gift we can share.

I give into him and give a hug,
He whispers “You’re my only love bug.”
Finally he is all mine, at last,
I talk to him but a bit too fast.
He laughs and kisses me,
To shut me up, he can see.

He saw the way that I got used,
He just stood there when I was abused.
Lucky he broke up from those guys,
And stopped them telling all the lies.
He has got some manners what delight,
Now he won’t be such a fright.
I wish to be with him forever from tonight!
