A Summer night's Walk

As I walk through the moonlit night,

a gasping chill runs down my spine,

the moon so full and blissfully bright,

the summer nights breeze so agile and fine.

The breeze is sterling the tree's,

the flower's are resting in place,

I can hear the hunny bee's,

preparing for daylights embrace.

The gorging of the waterfall,

the trickling of the stream,

the sound to me is a natural call,

to an everlasting dream.

The path I took will end very soon,

though I dont want it to end,

the brightness fades upon the moon,

I stop and look afar the river bend.

As daybreak starts to come alive,

the heavens and I begin to talk,

the moon had finally finished its dive,

we peacefully talk of the Summer Nights Walk.
