Somewhere Across

Words deeply thought are lost on the bridge somewhere across the sea
But I know you wouldn't hear them if they made it there from me
I'd grow wings to find them and deliver them from above
However, I'd have nowhere to land because this isn't love
You've infatuated me and eased my sorrow pain and aches
For I'm always left with nothing as my heart shatters, hurts and breaks
MY mind is brimmed with your soulful eyes of velvet deep and black
No matter if I try to escape, your memory keeps coming back
Days of warmth and azure skies do fill my soul these days
Cause just your memory makes me happy in many ways
It gives me hope that, despite the sea, there's someone just waiting out there
It fills my days with jubilancy when no one like you does care
I know we've never spoken and we may never get the chance
But thank you for lifting me to the stars and giving the drive to dance
My toes do tickle the heavens as I serenade the moon
Of songs to you I dedicate, so sweet its craters bloom
I'll gently descend to catch a glimpse of you just like I did before
For looking at only pictures makes me only thirst for more
I hope to meet your eyes again, but unsure what then I'll do
For words unspoken kill silently before they turn you blue
Your mystery and warm rememberance sent me into a state of bliss
But he realness that you gave to me is one thing I will miss
I let you leave to go back home when we only ever passed
Our eyes locked time and time again, but those moments didn't last
So you're always in my heart and mind and you're the one to blame
But if I'm feeling engulfed by you, I wonder if you're the same
Words deeply thought are lost on the bridge somewhere across the sea
For you'll ne'er hear them, alas! Just know you're the one who set them free
