Beautiful Broken Girl

There once was a beautiful girl
Born into an ugly world
She had gorgeous blonde locks
And a ballerina's figure
But one day things all changed
Her soul became broken and damaged
By the one man in her life she adored
Hurtfull words and actions from her cousin destroyed her
Forcing her happy to fade
She changed her locks darker
And scarred her body to something so new
She popped pills and chaced them with vodka
To get rid of the blue that she feared
The scarring got deeper and deeper
Until pain was all that she'd know
The pressure to be perfect weighed on her
Thin was her absolute goal
Her heart is now mangled and tattered
Like the scars she now hides on her arms
Soon her life will be over
Because the love that can save her
Is empty and lost
