Spider

I'm a spider.
Weaving a web
gossamer and light,
I spin my web, not to catch and consume,
But to save and shield.
I will repair,
I will endure,
I will protect,
I will catch you..
I will lay down my life for you,
I will do what I must to make sure you are okay.
Smile, no matter what happens,
So long as I see the smile upon your face,
I will be okay,
And no matter what must happen,
I will keep spinning my web
In case you fall.
