A Man of Noble Character
His face is oh handsome
His eyes are like the sea
They are shades of several blues
And seem always to captivate me
His lips are like the wind
They speak words of integrity
Defending the weak, sick, and poor
Declaring God’s majesty
His hands are strong and loose
He wouldn’t tighten a fist
The only time his hands do grasp
Is when he’s holding the ones he’s missed
His arms are full of strength
From all the battles he would fight
They’ve held the fragile and the lame
And have never ceased to lose their might
His feet are like the stream
That flows where the LORD leads
They don’t kick or trample anyone
No man, no bird, no beast
His heart is like the sunrise
Which brightens each new day
It’s calm and oh so loving
It’s the reason that he prays
For in his heart dwells Jesus
He received him in his heart
And now he’s changed forever
He can have peace in all the strife
His eyes are like the sea
They are shades of several blues
And seem always to captivate me
His lips are like the wind
They speak words of integrity
Defending the weak, sick, and poor
Declaring God’s majesty
His hands are strong and loose
He wouldn’t tighten a fist
The only time his hands do grasp
Is when he’s holding the ones he’s missed
His arms are full of strength
From all the battles he would fight
They’ve held the fragile and the lame
And have never ceased to lose their might
His feet are like the stream
That flows where the LORD leads
They don’t kick or trample anyone
No man, no bird, no beast
His heart is like the sunrise
Which brightens each new day
It’s calm and oh so loving
