The Lovers

The lovers play into the night.
The illuminating bay light
invites stars to come and play.
Night comes and goes, as it turns day,
fingers intertwined, such a sight.

They kiss and hug with all their might.
All of their plans are to enlight
the world around them during May.
The lovers play.

The lovers dance as they take flight,
off in the distance they do right.
The childish games make them stay,
they always know they are okay.
Day falls, again comes on the night.
The lovers play.
