The Man in a Black Suit

At the corner of Time and Light
Two fellows, the meet
They've come to greet
The man in a black suit

He said:" What's gone is done
And dead is he,
All that's left now is memory"
And they all remember last Tuesday

They hand him the money
They've paid their dues
Mostly because of the few
Who can survive the assassin's wrath.

The man in the black suit
He did his job well
The man he was paid to fell
Was never seen again.

And what of this man now dead?
The man who lost his head?
Did he deserve what he got?
(The assassin sure was paid a lot)
Or was this killing purely malicious?

The man in the black suit
He didn't give a hoot
With money, there was planted a seed
A seed that now blossomed with greed
The assassin sure was paid a lot.
