He is standing close to me,

We start to lean in,
I feel the warmth of his skin.
The air is full of heat,
Another second and our lips would meet.
The moment my eyes close,
Time suddenly slows.
My mind is flooded with thoughts of you,
Just when I thought I had pulled through.

Makes you the only thing I see.
I am pulled back to the present,
By his soft scent.
