Good-Bye

I can never forget you
what you mean to me,
I will never forget you,
you mean so much to me
You watched me grow,
and learn,
and love.
You took me on as your responsibility,
you helped me forget what was happening,
you helped me learn to move on.
But you never prepared me for something like this.
I miss you more than I expected to,
I see pictures from when I was little at your house,
and I know that you took them,
that you cared,
that you loved me.
So I now say good-bye to the best grandma/great-grandma I know.
You will forever be loved.
