Thin

She hurries to eat
It tastes so good
She smiles and laughs
She's been misunderstood

Sitting on the floor
She stares at the bowl
Fingers down her throat
She cries alone

The meal comes up
She flushes it away
Tired of the pain
Wishing for a brighter day

She smiles on the outside
Screams from the inside
They tell her how good she looks
For a moment she is happy

She knows it's working
She continues to purge
Dress sizes drop
As prom approaches

Her final day of school
She won't dare eat a thing
She looks good this way
Thin is beautiful

Grad day is here
Everyone sheds their tears
No one knew this would happen
No one knew she wasn't healthy

Her suffering has ended
Her friends has begun
She never wanted to die
But, thin was so beautiful.
