Sitting, Thinking, Wondering

In a world, deep in my mind
Time gets lost and words unwind

When I sit down and begin to wonder
It starts to crash loud, such magnificent thunder

The lightning flashes before my eyes
Lighting up all the easily hidden lies

The words they spoke sting my ears
Their hearts unlock mighty fears

The darkness ravels inside everyone
No matter how pleadingly I whisper: run

Whatever I do, it’s still just all in my head
As I sit here, wrapped up, in my warm bed

All I can do is wonder and stare
Nothing else exists out there

It’s crazy this world that I see in my mind
It’s always sinks back into me when the day passes by

When someone’s around it runs away
And when I try to grasp it, it just fades away

They’re so weird, these thoughts that send
Shivers up my spine because I can’t comprehend

What’s going on in this world deep in my mind
