Vacant

As such as the seasons do come and go
Like the summer, I to shall pass away
Winters wind back and forth a chilling flow
My eyes like the vacant dead, some might say

The hell hounds abound on their haunting rounds
Suffering souls silently a screaming
Insanity's and profanity's sound
Dwelling demons dart out, 'o so teeming

My eyes, my eyes, my oh so vacant eyes
Watch carelessly the humans pointless ways
They think, need not work, just wish on the sky's
but a wish with no work receives no pay

And in the drought the Summer Rose yet dies
And I'll remain here with my vacant eyes
