Thoughts In My Head.
The television is on,
I think the show is called John.
I'm curled up under the covers,
It feels like the arms of lovers.
I stare at the constant flicker of the lights,
I notice some children flying kites.
Then a man comes on,
He sings a song.
Words of wisdom and kind thoughts,
"Ha, what a joke," I retort.
I'm lonely in this cold bed,
With nothing but the thoughts in my head.
I think the show is called John.
I'm curled up under the covers,
It feels like the arms of lovers.
I stare at the constant flicker of the lights,
I notice some children flying kites.
Then a man comes on,
He sings a song.
Words of wisdom and kind thoughts,
"Ha, what a joke," I retort.
I'm lonely in this cold bed,
With nothing but the thoughts in my head.
