Outshine.

He knew what he wanted,
Took it for granted.

He stole everything,
He was never understanding.

He held his head up high,
Flirted with a woman that passed by.

He knew the tricks to an easier life,
And took it like a knife.

He sliced through lives,
With conniving little lies.

Then someone out-shined him,
Someone who knew, a kin.

He knew the tricks,
He told those racist hicks.

Humiliated with remarks and shouts,
He never came about.

He hid away, out of sight,
Where no one could see him in the light.
