The Girl In The Corner.

She sits in the corner,
Mask on her face,
Her nails painted red,
Her dress lined with lace.
As everybody just passes her by,
She sits in the corner and she just cries.
Nobody cares,
Nobody realized,
She cries as her life passes her by.
And she sings all the sad, sad songs,
And she doesnt know,
Where it all went wrong.
She sits in the corner,
Nobody's there,
She's all alone,
And nobody cares,
Living it alone,
Nobody knows,
How she feels inside,
And long ago her soul died,
But she still gets through it,
night after night,
She will make through it,
If she just fights.
And as she wiped,
Her eyes dry that night,
She realized her life,
Would be alright.
He stood there,
Mask on his face,
She looked up at him,
He had such grace.
Such a smile,
And beautiful eyes,
As she stared,
She felt revived.
He reached out,
And grabbed her hand.
Who was this stranger?
Who was this man?
She stood from her corner,
Holding his hand,
She wasn't alone,
With this new plan.
She no longer felt,
That she would die,
And she no longer sat,
In her corner and cried.
Finally she was happy,
Because she felt so alive.
