Desire

The chains that bound me are my greatest fear.

I scream and cry , tear after tear.

Time is the only remedy for this pain.

But time will also not keep me sane.

What lies inside me, is my greatest desire.

A torrid need , like a blazing fire.

But my desire is not a want, but a need.

It can not be forgotten, though I wish to secede.

My heart says hold on,

My mind says let go.

My heart gives me nothing but a life full of woe.

Time, come free me of my bounds.

Free me of the desire of which I've found.
