Early Mourning

In the earliest part of day, the midst of dawn, a young sprite heard a terrible noise. Everyone was gone, and the voice of theirs was what she heard, in a horrible way. It was the sound of animals being slaughtered helplessly. A tear slid down the face of the little sprite. She than remembered a memory that was formed only two hours ago. It was five o'clock a.m. The sun only had a pinkish yellow glow rising from the trees. The sprite greeted all the animals and other supernatural beings. She had a welcoming smile and greeted everyone with a sweet voice saying, ''hello!'' The memory had stopped. The sprite knew she had to do something to stop this. She began walking to the awful noise. As she walked, she then thought to herself that she would need something to defend herself. She carried a small pine-cone. This small part of nature was heavy compared to the sprites weight. As the sprite finally got there, all the animals were dead, covered in blood. There was no hunter, just complete silence...
