The eagle soars:
As the butterfly flies:
Into the early morn sky:

As does the eagle's presence gleaming:
Two creatures of a kind:
Of one:
Focused in mind:
The sounds of the eagle:
Echo screeching:
The butterfly:
Meek and innocent:
Both have come and went:
And nest with their species:
So pure the butterfly:
So vicious the eagle:
The butterfly broken:
As it limps feeble:
The eagle satisfied:
As it parades around victorious:
The butterfly sheds one last tear:
As it's been defeated by its worst fear:
The eagle preys on the simplistic and flawless:
Deep inside the eagle cries:
Death and blood upon it thrives:
If you consider yourself any less:
I advise you to hide and do what's best:
Leader of the skies:
The eagle has won:
Beautiful in paintings:
And on a sunny day:
The butterfly wanders;
