Overcast Moonlight

There's a black moon shining,
In the corner of my room.
Bouncing darkness off the walls.
Reminding me of death and doom.

Moon, you keep me wide awake,
Throughtout both night and day.
You weigh me down so I can't move.
And thus, in pain, I lay.

Silly Moon, what are you doing,
Filling me with hates and fears?
You are only a little moon.
No need to cause the drop of tears.

Black Moon, now I beg of you,
To float away tonight.
Let me sleep for once, I beg.
Let me breathe without a fright.
