A Colorless World

I recently visited,
a colorless world.
No ones hair was too straight,
Nor too curled.
Everyone got along,
and everyone belonged.
There was no happiness,
but there was no pain.
There was nothing to lose,
but there was nothing to gain.
No one smiled,
but no one cried.
No one gave up,
but no one tried.
There were no husbands,
and no wives.
But you see,
there also was no death.
Because there was no life.
