Beautiful Girl

I’ve never heard something quite as sweet
As the laugh I heard someday this week
I’ve never seen something with so much beauty
As I saw when I was on duty.

The sweet laugh chimed in my ears
That made me come to tears.
And the face that held a smile
Could be seen from every mile.

I was so dazed
I couldn’t sleep for days
Wide awake every night
I was so lost at the sight

I couldn’t speak for a whole week
A face that made me dance on my feet
A smile that lit up my whole world
I’ve never seen such a beautiful girl.
