Why did you go?

It’s days like today

when I need you so

I don’t know why

you left without word,

you just flew away

like a selfish little bird

There was no warning,

you didn’t say why

I didn’t even get a shitty goodbye

Now I’m left in the dark

not knowing what to do,

Do I try to move on

and get over you?

Or do I stay where I am,

a pathetic mess?
