4.7.11

Laying under the covers
In a bed you've claimed as your own
Sometimes it's not enough to curl in a ball
Sometimes you want to curl tighter
To completely wrap yourself inward
Making yourself as small as you possibly can
Your knees covering your eyes
Your arms gripping your waist over your legs
Sometimes you wish to just escape
To disappear within yourself
Within your safe bed and comforters
Or to just wish to wake up somewhere else
As a new person in a new city
Where you are a complete stranger
And nobody knows your name
Or maybe you don't ever wish to wake
To just sleep in eternal bliss
Until forever fades away
And the days of yesterday
Have become only a part of imagination
