I don't understand
Why people can't be themselves
Why people can't take a joke
Why people can't accept differences

But most of all
Why people have to be so hateful
Why people can't always be trusted
Why people can't speak their minds

What I understand is
Why there must be conflict
Why you can't be friends with everyone
Why everything happens for a reason
Why no one can be perfect
