Broken Promise

She ponders every night over what went wrong,
how could such a girl stay so strong?
Why did this have to happen to her,
why doesn't she ever get what she deserves?
why are the strongest always go through the worst
and the weakest get so much worth?
she trusted him with everything in her being
but she ended up being a promise he didn't think worth keeping.
