You Were...

You were once my stranger,
prying your way into my life
with small talks,
and sweet compliments

You were once my friend,
someone to talk to in my
darkest hours,
and fueling me with hope
of a brighter future.

You were once my lover,
showering me with kisses,
and making me feel wanted.

You were once my murderer,
ripping my heart out with lies,
and throwing me to wind like
I was nothing more but waste.

You were once my stalker,
obsessing over me, and
watching me from afar.

You were once my hate,
lusting after me like a sick
user, and toying with my
heart like I have no emotions.

Now you are my phantom,
a nightmare I can't wake up from,
a fear in the back of my head.

Soon you'll be my stranger,
a mistake I made in the past,
a lifeless memory like the dead.
