'If' And 'Then'
There are days when,
All I can think of is 'if' and 'then'.
If you had stayed here,
Then would the hurt have disappeared?
If you had loved her,
Then would you have traded everything for sex and liqueur?
If all is not lost,
Then what is the cost,
To make this family one,
Just like when it begun?

This could apply to many people's situations. I wrote this while thinking about my parent's divorce. I love my dad, but sometimes I don't understand why he did this.
