The Labyrinth

It's inescapable, the Labyrinth
we try time and time again, but we can't escape
everywhere there are dead ends
there's no escape

some try to climb over the walls, but they're too high
some try to imagine they aren't here at all
others use drugs to put them in a "higher" state of mind and numb it away
but it never works, there's no escape

when faced with enough time, we all discover
there's no escape
for the Labyrinth is inescapable
i know 'cause i've tried
