A Touch Like Needles

(How can every hold harm. A touch cause alarm.)

It's a room filled with locks and bars.
A creavice to breathe but the air isn't right.
Cracks in the walls
but, they don't provide light.
In every instance of comfort
she can never feel right.
It's a lesson with a purpose
to learn she's not "alright".
But, who's there to ask
if she's wearing a mask?
We're all just fools
being chased by the past.

Now, you.
Hold me closely,
I need abrasive passion.
It's a life worth living,
though a life needs care.
The lesson I've learned
is we should never look back
and stare.
At the ones we used to be,
all the things we used to say.
It's not much but comfort,
knowing you're loved for.

Oh, how we'll never be the same
and goddamn ain't that a shame.

And how I never lied to you
but, it's all that you seemed to do.

These are the lyrics that I used for song writing.
These words are inspired from how we as individual's may grow scarred from
any experiences in life and the perspective we develop from them.
